  • 1974 started working as an English teacher and translator
  • 1994 started working with clay at "Clay-Studio Yamazaki"
  • 1995 opened "K's Studio"
  • 2000 moved to Lake Kawaguchiko, the north foot of Mt.Fuji

    Master's degree from Kyoto University of Education, 1993

    Experiments

    I once came up with a question "what clay is."
    I've been travelling to explore geology since---- Japan
    England/Ireland/Hawaii Big Island/ U.S.A/Spain/France
    Philippines/Korea/Taiwan/Swiss Alps/Vietnam/NZ
    I do experiments with locally collected rock/clay glazes, besides creating ceramic pieces.
