  • 1974 started working as an English teacher and translator
  • 1994 started working with clay at "Clay-Studio Yamazaki"
  • 1995 opened "K's Studio"
  • 2000 moved to Lake Kawaguchiko, the north foot of Mt.Fuji
  • Education

    Master's degree from Kyoto University of Education, 1993

    Experiments

    I once came up with a question "what clay is."
    I've been travelling to explore geology since---- Japan, England, Ireland, The Big Island, U.S.A, Spain, France...
    I've done experiments with locally collected rock/clay glazes.
